Visas, passports and vaccines 


Tourists and visitors from MERCOSUR member countries may simply enter the country presenting their national identity document (no need to present passport). Tourists and visitors of other nationalities must present a passport that is valid six months beyond intended stay.

Vaccines

Travelers from the following countries must present at the moment of arrival in Brazil the International Immunization Certificate against Yellow Fever (CIV):

 

For travelers going to Brazil, non-vaccinated or with more than ten years previous vaccination against yellow fever, vaccination is recommended to those persons going to risk forest regions, in accordance with the map  (link)
